How to Volunteer
SAFE Homes-Rape Crisis Coalition has a vital Volunteer Program with over 400 individuals, businesses, and organizations who assist us in providing services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. We are always eager to recruit others who want to make a difference in our community. There are many opportunities for volunteers at our agency. A few are listed below but if you have a specialty and want to assist us in your area of expertise, please give your Volunteer Coordinator a call at 1-864-583-9803 or 1-800-277-5066, or send in an application.
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
- Crisis Counseling/Crisis Lines
- Courthouse Advocate
- Emergency Shelter Resource Person
- Speaker's Bureau
- Office Assistant
- Children's Programs
- Fundraising/Special Events
- Support Group Counselor
